Back in August, Adrian and Gillian Bayford became the most successful EuroMillions winners ever, bagging themselves an unfathomable £148 million.

Since their win, the duo have been keen to keep their feet firmly on the ground, with Mr Bayford even returning to work just a couple of weeks after he became an overnight millionaire.

One thing that they did vow to change, however, was their home.

It's taken them a while - but the down-to-earth pair have finally found a property that suits their needs down to a tee.

Let's face it, with £148 million sitting in the bank, who can blame them?

Their new home is a grade II-listed Georgian mansion, set in more than 100 acres of woods and farmland.

They're swapping their three-bedroom, normal family home for one that has seven bedrooms, four marbled bathrooms and four reception rooms.

The property is thought to have been on the market not as a whole, but as individual outbuildings.

However, the whole thing is thought to have been bought by the couple for an asking price of more than £6 million.

Mr and Mrs Bayford are still living in their original home in Haverhill, Suffolk, while they wait to move into the Georgian mansion.

A friend of the couple told the Daily Mail: "Adrian and Gillian made no secret about wanting to buy a nice house when they went public with their win.

"Some people expected them to move out of their old home straight away – but they have taken their time to find the ideal place. This new house is perfect for them. It is a wonderful property with plenty of land."

Mr Bayford is still working selling second-hand albums at his Suffolk Music Centre shop in Haverhill which he set up before the win with his friend.
